Saya looka at the medallion, staring in awe at it. She slowly reached out to touch.

Wes got tired of feeling short, so she phased back, "so what about this medallion?"

Jake closed up the box before saya could touch it. He put it away.
"I think this medalion is from this time period. The kiba of the story had one like it. So it's either real or an impossibly good fake."

"im pretty sure its real, id say take it to a lab, but..."

As jake closed the box, Saya quickly recoiled her hand. She looked between them, "I think it is real. I can feel something emmitnating off of it, like the magic of old."

Wes cocked her head, "you can?"

"Yeah can't you???" Saya walked over to the book shelves and search a book she had just thought of

"Hmm?" Jake tilted his head as he looked at the closed box. He had always senced it was magic. "What are you thinking?"

"Not thinking... Just checking a suspicion." Saya found the book she was looking for and pulled it out. She blew a bit of dust off of it and opened it. She flipped through the pages looking for something.

Jake shoved the box in his pocket and looked down, studying the tapestry picture

"A-HA!!!" Saya pointed to an article. He eyes skimmed through the olden text. "As i suspected. Here Jake read this." She held the book out. On the page a sketch of the medallion and beneath it was a description

Jake took the book and skimmed the text. Then he reread it aloud.
"The Ludolf Medalion: A legendary medalion whos origin is unknown, is usually found in relation to werewoves. It is usually carried or worn by the current leader of the werewolves. It is said to give the wielder great power. It is also said to carry the spirits of the ancients who advise the leader as he leads his people....." Jake's voice faltered as he couldnt read much farther.
"I cant read this." He stated. Strange runes were underneath the caption, covering whatever was left of the caption.

"Well atlease know what is it, right?" Saya says taking the book back and skimming through other pages.

Jake gave a grunt. He had already known most of it. His mind drifted. So why was it in *my* house?.....

Saya closed the book and replaced it on the shelf. She went and sat down at the table. "It's been a while since anything using the magic of old has been in this house." She said mainly talking to herself

Jake thought for a moment.
"This might be a bad thing. It's a werewolf artifact... I know it's in a box but.....maybe i should put it back." He said, suddenly remembering about Saya's mom.

"That might be a good idea." Saya quickly checked the time, noticing it to be about 5

Jake nodded. "I'll be back then, unless we're calling it a day." He added, checking the time. It was getting late

"I think we should call it a day, My mom should wake in a couple hours. That should give me enough time to clean up around here." Saya looked around

"Right, then see you tomorrow." With that Jake headed home.

"..." Wes looked around, "do...you want help, or..."

"Nah, i got it. You can head home." Saya started grabbing the books from the table and neatly stacking them.
